Trinity's Extended Advent Leads to our New Beginning
By the Rev. David A. Powers
A little more than a year ago I wrote “Advent will quickly lead to Christmas, and then Christmas will lead to Epiphany, and so on as the Christian year continues. We will continue to experience Advent until the next rector is in place. For this is a time of transition, of looking ahead to an unknown person as rector, of getting our house prepared for new leadership, and of palpable energized expectation.” More...____________________________________

Name Tag Sunday is November 30th
November 30th has been designated as "Name Tag Sunday." The Parish staff and others have been preparing name tags for each of us to wear to help our new Rector and his family get better acquainted with the Parish family. November 30 will be the first Sunday that he will be with us fulltime. A welcoming reception will be held the following Sunday, December 7. In addition to “Name Tag Sunday,” parishioners are being asked to wear the name tags on other special occasions.

Safeguarding God's Children:
Important! For all adults who work with children and youth....please read this requirement from the Diocese. Deadline involved!
All adults who either regularly or occasionally work with or around children or youth are required by the Diocese to undergo child abuse awareness training. This training can be accomplished online. In order to do so, the diocese needs a database with your name and a four-digit ID number (one that you can easily remember). Please turn this in to Nancy Quittmeyer, Parish Nurse, ASAP. Nancy can be reached at parishnurse@trinitymobile.org or (251) 476-8583. Who should take the training? Read more..
