Geary Gaston
Geary is a retired lawyer turned furniture maker. He has been married to
Peggi for over 40 years, has two sons, two daughters-in-law, five grandchildren
and one dog. A member of Trinity since 1968, he has served eight previous
terms on the Vestry and at various times has been Jr. Warden, Sr. Warden, a
Trustee of the Endowment Fund, and held numerous other positions in the
Parish. He is currently a member of the Parish Life Committee, a Lay
Eucharistic Minister, a Lector, a Chalice Bearer, and works in the Parish Food
Ministry which distributes food to the homeless and those in need. He has
a passion for telling children’s Bible stories and has been one of the
Children’s chapel Bible story tellers for over 30 years.
In the
Diocese Geary is a past member and President of the Standing Committee, a past
member and Chair of the Cursillo Secretariat, and is currently serving on the
Board of Trustees of the Wilmer Hall Children’s Home, is Vice Chair of the
Diocesan Commission on World Mission, and is the Team Leader for Diocesan
Construction Missions to the Dominican Republic. He has been on numerous
mission trips to Guatemala, El Salvador, and the Dominican Republic.
