I graduated from the University of Alabama and took my masters degree from the University of South Alabama. I was a teacher in Mobile for thirty years. Fifteen of those years were spent at St. Luke’s Episcopal School and another fifteen at Murphy High School where I was the Senior Class Sponsor in charge of graduation. I love to read, especially well-researched novels about early English tribes, English mysteries by Elizabeth George, John LeCarre’s psychological spy novels, and modern fiction by Tom O’Brien and Lief Enger. David McCullough is my favorite non-fiction author.
I attend Trinity because I prefer a medium-sized church that cares about outreach which tells me that the people of Trinity believe in doing God’s work. Being a member of Trinity’s vestry has given me a deeper understanding of the dependency of the Church’s ministry on each member’s stewardship of time and resources.
