The Eighth Sunday after Pentecost

Sunday Readings

O God, you have taught us to keep all your commandments by loving you and our neighbor: Grant us the grace of your Holy Spirit, that we may be devoted to you with our whole heart, and united to one another with pure affection; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Eliezer and Rebecca at the Well

‘Before I had finished speaking in my heart, there was Rebekah coming out with her water-jar on her shoulder; and she went down to the spring, and drew. I said to her, “Please let me drink.” 46She quickly let down her jar from her shoulder, and said, “Drink, and I will also water your camels.” So I drank, and she also watered the camels.    Genesis   45-46

Property Report - The Rose Window

Representatives of the Property Management Council will explain the serious damages to the Rose Window and what needs to be done to preserve it before it deteriorates beyond repair.  Please try to attend one of two meetings which will be held before and after the 10:30 service on July 6 to see firsthand what is involved and how much it will cost.  The property Management Council recommended a proposal from Willet Hauser to the Finance Committee for $132,500. An additional $21,900 will be needed for additional work.
